Kick off your evening of Shakespeare with this "curtain-raiser" performed by Central Texas elementary and middle school students participating in our Shakespeare at Winedale Outreach program. This 20-minute performance will take place in the high-ceilinged atrium of the Bullock Museum, with its circular polished granite floor serving as our Texas version of the Globe Theater stage. Parking is free in the Bullock garage next door to the museum. Note: There is no pre-set seating in the atrium, so audience members for this annual event typically stand or sit on the floor; you are welcome to bring a camp chair as well. If you are interested in attending and need assistance with accessibility, please let us know! This performance will feature a selection of moments and speeches from As You Like It performed by students in grades 3-9, in celebration of the visit by Actors from the London Stage.
Shakespeare at Winedale is committed to accessibility. We recognize the needs of persons with disabilities and strive to make our facilities and productions accessible to all.
When purchasing tickets, please describe any transportation or wheelchair accessibility requirements. We will be happy to assist you.
